The chickens and roosters that Fisher-Price made the first few years are slightly different than those made during the later years. The oldest chickens and roosters are two seperate pieces that are glued together in the middle, they have a very shallow hole (1/2" deep) on the bottom that allow them to fit onto the fence posts, and they have "MADE IN HONG KONG" cast under their left wing. The 2nd version of chickens and roosters are one piece (no glue) with a deep hole (7/8" deep). The 2nd version has "MADE IN HONG KONG" embedded around the rim of the hole.
