This Old Toy's Original Little People "Pigs" Identification List

The Little People pigs were first introduced in 1968 with the #915 Play Family Farm, and discontinued in 1991. During this time span, Fisher-Price made several different pigs:

The oldest pigs have a metal rivet through their belly and no markings, meaning they were made in the USA, click here for an illustration.
The 2nd version has a metal rivet through their belly and the words "Made In Hong Kong", click here for an illustration.
The 3rd version has a circular depression where the rivet used to be and the words "Made in Hong Kong", click here for an illustration.
The last version has a smooth belly and the words "Made in Hong Kong", click here for an illustration.

There are only four different colored pigs: black, brown, pink, or white. The brown and white pigs were only used during the early seventies, they always a metal rivet through their belly and no markings. The pink pig was used from 1986 until 1990 in the #2501 Little People Farm, and always had a smooth belly and the words "Made In Hong Kong". The black pig has the most variations, as it was used most of the years from 1968 to 1985 in the #915 Play Family Farm. In addition to the 4 variations listed above, there are three different ear color variations for the black pig: dark grey-brownish ears, light grey ears, or white ears.
