| Description: It had been several years since the #996 Airport was discontinued before a new airport was introduced to the Little People line. The #933 base is rather small and basic compared to the #996 base, but the accessories are basically the same, including an airplane, helicopter, airport tram, luggage and figures, however the #933 is much more modern by providing a waiting room with chairs and coffee tables so the passengers can wait for hours on their delayed plane.
The most suprising feature about this set is the fact that is comes with 7 Little People figures, which was odd considering that the eighties were the beginning of the "cut-backs", and all of the other Little People sets that were available at that time, except the #192 School Bus, had only 4 or less Little People figures.
In 1986, this set was slightly redesigned (with a green base) and reissued as #2502 Little People Airport. The plane was given a new tail litho number (2360 vs. #933) and sold as the #2360 - Little People Jetliner (1986-1990).

1981 Fisher-Price Dealer Catalog:
- B933A - Jetport Base - Blue-grey airport/jetport with a small yellow plastic airport building. The building has a white roof with a central "tower" on top. The tower has a RED revolving radar dish on top.
- Vehicles:
- FPT581 - White top, Yellow bottom plane with a blue-tinted (enclosed) cockpit, Blue wings and interior, and Yellow engines. The plane has a fold-down door on the side with stairs to allow passengers access to the seats inside. Marked "FISHER-PRICE" (white within blue strip) on the back sides of the plane and a rainbow litho marked "933" on the tail.
- FPT788 - Yellow top, Blue bottom 1-seat slim "rounded-style" helicopter with yellow landing gear, and blue propeller (3 rotor blades). The rotor blades have WHITE hollow triangles heat-stamped on the ends.
- FPT642 - Green top, white base 2-seat car with side-to-side seating. The car has a flat ribbed luggage rack behind the seats, a gas hole on the back corner, and is marked "fp" and "Fisher-Price Toys®" on the hood. The car rolls on 4 black wheels with metal axles. - 3-piece airport service train (This tram might be a catalog prototype? Tram wheels are held on via blue plastic rivets, and tram truck hood is marked.)
- Yellow top, Blue base 1-seat truck with an upright peg on the back (to connect to other tram cars). The hood and trunk areas are raised higher than the seat. The hood is marked with an imprint ("F" and "P" in circles above "Fisher-Price Toys" imprint. The trunk has a gas hole. Wheels are held on via blue plastic rivets and wheels are marked "FISHER-PRICE TOYS".
- Yellow Fuel tank on a Blue base. Has a black gas pump heat-stamped on the side of the fuel tank and a black fuel nozzle attached via a rope. Has a C-shaped hook on the front, and a peg on the back to connect to other cars. Wheels are held on via blue plastic rivets and wheels are marked "FISHER-PRICE TOYS".
- Blue luggage car. Has a C-shaped hook on the front, and a peg on the back to connect to other cars. Wheels are held on via blue plastic rivets and wheels are marked "FISHER-PRICE TOYS".
- Furniture:
- 4 each - FPT138 - Small medium brown plastic single-seat captain chair that has a seat back that extends 3/4 of the way around the seat with a DOT mark on back.
