Description: The long-running #926 Cash Register was replaced in 1991 with the #2044 Cash Register. This is one of the few 1990's remodeled toys that didn't seem to loose it's quality and play value with all of the cost-cutting that Fisher-Price seemed to be doing. The remodeled cash register is the same size and shape as the #926, but colored differently. Designed for children ages 2 to 6 years old.
This register was re-introduced in 2007 as one of the "Fun to Imagine" Classic Toys. The 2007-2011 Register has a red/white Fisher-Price awning logo on the front cash drawer and each coin has two curved holes (to prevent choking).

- B2044 - Plastic cash register with a red base and a bright white upper housing. The register has a green coin shelf on the front, a yellow cash drawer under the coin shelf (center of drawer is marked, "Fisher-Price" in blue), a red coin-return chute on the side, a yellow crank handle on the other side, and no lithos attached to the sides nor back. Measures 9-1/8" wide, 7-7/8" deep, 7-3/4" tall.
- 6 Coins (NO holes in coins):
- 2 each - FPT966 - Round red plastic coin marked "25" on one side and "25" and "f" and "p" within circle on the other side. Coin measures 1-1/2" diameter, 7/16" thick.
- 2 each - FPT960 - Round yellow plastic coin marked "10" on one side and "10" and "f" and "p" within circle on the other side. Coin measures 1-1/4" diameter, 11/16" thick.
- 2 each - FPT965 - Round orange plastic coin marked "5" on one side and "5" and "f" and "p" within circle on the other side. Coin measures 1-3/8" diameter, 1/2" thick.
- 2007-2011 (#L6485):
- FPT45180 - Plastic cash register with a red base and a bright white upper housing. The register has a green coin shelf on the front, a yellow cash drawer under the coin shelf (center of drawer is marked with a red/white Fisher-Price Awning Logo), a red coin-return chute on the side, a yellow crank handle on the other side, and no lithos attached to the sides nor back.
