Description: Two years after the release of #938 Sesame Street (Apartments), Fisher-Price released another Sesame Street playset...the #937 Clubhouse. This clubhouse is a white building with lots of fun activities to keep the accessory characters busy. A crank on the side of the building makes Big Birds nest on top of the building spin, and activates a moving walkway. When figures stand on the moving sidewalk it takes them to the edge then dumps them down the curled red slide. The front of the building has a set of stairs that leads to a trap door that sends the accessory figures down a chute and out the side of the building. The front also has a green door, a black plastic tire swing attached to a horizontal spring post, and a blue flip-up lid that allows children to peek inside of the clubhouse. The flip-up lid and the tire swing are often broken or missing entirely. The back of the building has a green revolving door and an attached yellow merry-go-round.

All of the accessories, except the figures, are exclusive to this set. A similar, but different shaped and colored jumprope was used in 1988-1990's #2550 School. Likewise, a white play tube the same size as those used in this set was used in the #2550 School.

Variations:
  • Base and Attachment Variations:
    • B937WO - White clubhouse building with a blue roof, and a tanish-orange base. A crank on the side of the building makes a round yellow "nest" on top of the building spin, and activates a moving walkway. When figures stand on the moving sidewalk it takes them to the edge then dumps them down the red slide on the end. The front of the building has a set of stairs that leads to a trap door that sends the accessory figures down a chute and out the side of the building. The front also has a green door, a black plastic tire swing attached to a horizontal spring post, and a blue flip-up lid that allows children to peek inside of the clubhouse. The back of the building has a green revolving door, and an attached yellow merry-go-round. Overall size: 17" wide, 10" deep, and 10" tall. THIS PART NUMBER IS FOR A BASE MISSING THE F937 FLAP.
    • F937 - Flat blue plastic flap used as part of the roof on the #937 Sesame Street Clubhouse Blue. One side of the flap has a raised line "ribbed" design with 8 lines. The center of the flap has a white paper litho with a picture of a Sesame Street bird and the following words in black: "Fisher-Price 937 Sesame Street Clubhouse". The top edge of the flap (above the litho) has 2 squared hole with a pole within each square. The poles snap onto clamps on the #937 Clubhouse Base. This design allows the flap to lay flat to be used as a roof, or lift up to play inside the clubhouse. *Note: This flap will fit on the #934 Western Town, but is not the correct piece for the Western Base.
    • FPT1029 - Black 1-seat tire swing with 2 upright supporting arms. The arms attach to a spring on the #937 Sesame Street Clubhouse base. *Spring NOT included.
