Description: Pop-Eye was the first of 5 Popeye toys made by Fisher-Price. The wooden Popeye figure sits on a rolling platform and demonstrates his mighty strength by leaning forward and back pounding his hammer on a bell. The faster he is pulled, the faster he pounds!
Accessories:
  • FPT4323 - Wooden cut out figure with wooden arms and legs. The cut outs have paper lithographs attached to the sides of Popeye wearing a white cap, black sailor shirt with a red collar, and blue pants. Popeye sits on a red rectangular platform that has a bell mounted in front of Popeye. Popeye hits bell with a red wooden hammer (attached to his hands) as toy is pulled. The platform rolls on wooden wheels. One side of Popeye's pants is marked with a Fisher-Price logo and marked "Copyright 1935 King Features Syndicates, Inc.". Measures 11-1/4" x 9" x 3-5/8".
