| Description: With the Forest Ranger playset, young camper can enjoy all the great outdoors has to offer: roads and river (on the 29-1/2 x 20-1/2: vinyl playmat), camping equipment, trees, animals, and even a forest ranger tower with a Ranger figure to oversee the park. This set includes the same pieces that were sold in the 1974 Camping Set, plus a hard-to-find campfire, 4 forest animals, a horse with saddle, and more. This set was sold exclusively at Sears. |
Accessories:
- PSK105 - Playmat - 29-1/2" x 20-1/2" vinyl playmat with a blue river, light and dark green grass area, and a short orange curved road in one corner.
- 3 Vehicles:
- PSK89 - Car - Yellow squared car. The interior is square with a seat backrest divider in the center (can seat 4 figures). The car has a green top (attached to car via 4 corners around sitting area). Rolls on 4 black wheels (marked Playskool) held on via yellow plastic rivets. Has a peg on the back (to attach trailer). Measures 3-3/4" wide x 5-3/8" long x 3-1/2" tall. Bottom of car is marked, "Playskool, No. 385, Chicago Illinois".
- PSK90 - Trailer - Green square trailer with a recessed rectangular bed and 4 short raised support arms on the top corners (to hold boat and/or tent). Rolls on 2 black wheels (marked Playskool) held on via green plastic rivets. Has a C-shaped hitch on the front (to attach to car). Measures 3-3/4" wide x 4-3/4" long x 2" tall. Bottom of trailer is marked, "Playskool, No. 385, Chicago Illinois".
- PSK91 - Canoe - Small red canoe with 4 support bars inside (holds 2 square figures in place within the boat). Measures 1-1/4" wide x 4-7/8" long x 1" tall. Bottom of canoe is marked, "Playskool, No. 385, Chicago Illinois".
- PSK92 - Tent - Yellow plastic tent with 3 panels. The tent can fold flat, or open to a triangle (end pieces latch together to form triangle).
- 2 each - PSK93 - Backpack - Small brown plastic backpack with a squared "body", round towel roll at the top, and 2 stiff arms (clip on end of each arm) to attach the backpack to a square figure.
- PSK106 - Campfire - Small round grey campfire with "rocks" on the edges and red "firewood" in a pile within the center of the rock circle.
- Take-Apart Ranger Tower:
- 2 each - PSK107 - Red flat rectangular tower side piece with 3 rectangular cutsouts. The bottom center edge of the 2 middle cutouts have a rectangular hole (to attach tower connector piece). Measures 6-1/2" tall x 3-1/4" wide (base). Bottom bar marked "Playskool".
- PSK108 - Red flat rectangular XXX-shaped tower center connector piece. The edges of the connector fit into the rectangular holes on the tower side pieces. Measures 6-1/2" tall x 3-3/8" wide (base).
- PSK109 - Tower Floor - Square yellow platform with a wood-simulated "floor" and a 1/2" tall wall around the edges. The center of the square floor has 2 long "holes" (to edge of each tower side piece fits into the holes). Measures 4-3/8" square x 1/2" tall. Bottom marked "Playskool".
- PSK110 - Tower Building - Small square yellow tower building with a red roof. Measures 4-1/4" tall x 3-3/4" wide (roof edges) x 3-1/2" deep.
- PSK142 - Ladder - Red 6-rung plastic ladder with thin rails. Measures 7" long x 1-1/2" wide x 1/4" thick.
- Take-Apart Tree - 4-piece plastic stacking tree (Animal Homes):
- PSK111 - Tall brown tree trunk with a tree branch "stump" on 2 sides a hole on one side (animal home). One of the branch stumps is hollow with an open hole on the end. The top has a raised 6-sided "lip" on the top (to attach other tree pieces). The bottom has a recessed 6-sided hole (to attach other tree pieces). Measures 3-7/8" tall x 3" wide (including branch stumps) x 2" deep.
- PSK112 - Short brown hollow tree trunk with a tree branch "stump" on one side and a hole on the other side (animal home). The branch stump is hollow with an open hole on the end. The top has a raised 6-sided "lip" on the top (to attach other tree pieces). The bottom has a recessed 6-sided hole (to attach other tree pieces). Measures 2-3/8" tall x 2-3/8" wide (including branch stumps) x 2" deep.
- Green 2-piece Tree "Leaves" - 2 halves snap together and form an open 6-sided hold in the bottom when snapped together.
- PSK113a - Green tree top half with molded "leaves" on one side, a large hole in the center (1-1/4" tall x 1-1/8" wide animal home hole) and 2 large round pegs (7/16" diameter) on the "inside" to attach other half. Measures 3-7/8" tall x 3" wide x 2" deep.
- PSK113b - Green tree top half with molded "leaves" on one side, a small hole in the center (1-1/8" tall x 1-1/8" wide animal home hole ) and 2 small tall round pegs (1/4" diameter) on the "inside" to attach other half. Measures 3-7/8" tall x 3" wide x 2" deep.

- PSK114 - Bear - Dark brown bear with 4 jointed legs, tan painted snout, and white/black painted eyes.
- PSK115 - Beaver - Small dark brown beaver with a flat tail on back and white/black painted eyes.
- PSK116 - Eagle - Dark brown eagle with yellow feet on the bottom, a white head and yellow beek, and wings on his back.
- PSK117 - Raccoon - Light brown raccoon with a white face and black "mask" over eyes. Has a large light brown jointed tail (tilts up and down) with black rings.
- PSK118 - Horse - Dark brown horse with a squared body, 4 jointed legs (attached to sides of body), a raised molded white mane and tail, round white hooves, and a white/black eye.
- PSK119 - Horse Saddle - Square yellow saddle with a hollow square in the center (seat area) and 2 stirrups hanging down on the sides.
- PSK120 - Ranger Hat - Square brown ranger hat with a square hole on the bottom (to fit onto a Playskool figure's head), a small brim on the edges, and the squared top is pointed in the top center.
