Description: Battery-operated tape recorder with a built-in microphone and with a set of headphones for private listening. It has easy-to-read and easy-to-use buttons and controls, and a built-in carry handle on top for portability. Requires four C-size batteries (not included). Designed for children ages 3 years and older.

Accessories:

FPT44227 - Red battery-operated tape recorder with a built-in microphone. Has a yellow tape face, blue control buttons on top, and a yellow stop/eject button. Marked "Fisher-Price" in white under the tape face. The front has a small round battery indicator light located beside the tape face, near the stop/eject button. Back of the player has a headphones jack.
FPT44228 - Red rectangular battery cover that fits on the bottom of the tape recorder. The battery cover is marked "2209, ©1980, 89 FISHER-PRICE, DIVISION OF THE QUAKER OATS CO., EAST AURORA, N.Y. 14052, ASSEMBLED IN MEXICO”. *See "Variations" below.
FPT5393 - Yellow cassette tape titled "Discover Your World of Sounds" that has instructions on how to use the tape recorder on one side, and blank on side 2 titled "Record Your World of Sounds" to allow children to record. WFL: 07-AI-01-G-M
FPT44229 - Fisher-Price headphones, description unknown.
