Description: A "wigwam" is a domed room dwelling used by certain Native American tribes. The Weebles Wigwam set does NOT includes a wigwam, it actually includes a tipi. A tipi (also tepee and teepee) is a conical tent traditionally made of animal skins and wooden poles used by the tribes of the Great Plains. The set also includes a "travois" (stretcher), whoch was used by tribes to drag large loads over land. The basic construction consists of a platform or netting mounted on two long poles. |
Accessories:
- Tipi - HTW337 - Cone-shaped white hard plastic tipi with molded Native American tribe designs on the sides. Has a triangular door opening on one side and a round red top (to simulate tipi top poles). Red top may be removable?
- Travois - HTW338 - Red rectangular "bed" with an egg-shaped recessed area for a Weeble figure to lay down. The top edge has a large loop attached (loop fits around Weeble horse figure), and the 2 bottom edges have 1" long "poles", allowing the travois to carry/transport a Weeble figure, like a stretcher.
- Horse - HTW339 - White rounded horse figure with a brown mane and tail and a yellow 1-seat saddle. Measures 4-1/4" long x 2-3/4" tall x 2-7/8" wide.
- Weeble - HTW16 - Native American (Indian) - Yellow base, brown top (hair) Native American Indian boy with a yellow headband and red/white feather, a brown vest, and holds a bow in one hand. Has a red/white/yellow pack of arrows on his back. Marked, "©1974 Hasbro". Measures 1-3/4" tall.
