The very first record ever made by Fisher-Price was in 1971. The 1971 #995 Music Box Record Player was sold with 5 plastic records with imprint markings to play on the #995 Record Player. This record style was used for several years and used in several sets that feature a record player. Fisher-Price also made a few black 33 speed record records that can be played on any standard record player.
