Description: The #982 Hot Rod Roadster is a toddler's riding toy that uses the same body style and design of 1964-1982's #987 Creative Coaster. The Roadster has bright red lightographs with cool exhaust pipes on the sides. Where the Creative Coaster was sold with building blocks that fit within the coaster's storage tray, the Roadster was sold with a 4-piece plastic engine! The Roadster has a steering column with a round plastic steering wheel on the end. The wheel has a horn in the center that children can press for a "beep-beep" sound. The steering column swings forward for children to pull the Roadster like a wagon. The wheels make a "clickety-click" sound as the toy rolls. Designed for children ages 18 months to 4 years old.

Accessories:
- FPT3423 - Rectangular wooden riding toy with red lithographs on the sides marked "HOT ROD" and with pictures of exhaust pipes. The riding toy has a yellow plastic seat supported via 4 red dowels, 4 big blue balloon-type wheels that make a "clickety-click" sound when they roll, and a removable steering column. The steering column swings forward for wagon play. A removable 4-piece plastic "engine" fits in the cart between the steering column and seat.
- FPT8537 - Yellow steering column with a white plastic steering wheel on one end. The steering wheel has a red horn in the center that goes "beep-beep" when pressed.
- 4-piece engine that can be taken apart then reassembled:
- FPT3426 - Blue plastic simulated engine block (fits between steering column and seat on the Hot Rod).
- 2 each - FPT3424 - Yellow plastic rectangular cylinder head with 2 spark plugs.
- FPT3427 - Round red plastic carborator/aircleaner with round hole in the center.
