Description: This well known, long lived rock-a-stack received a new model number in 1991. The rainbow colored plastic rings fit over the center pole of the base graduate in size, teaching children basic color and shape perception. Designed for children ages 6 months to 3 years old.

- FPT16657 - Square white plastic base with a rounded bottom and a hole on top to attach the removable pole. The sides of the base have a PINK heat-stamp marked "Fisher-Price®, 627, MADE IN U.S.A".
- FPT16658 - Yellow plastic pole with a slightly recessed "neck" near the top and screw threads on the bottom to screw into the top center of the rocking base.

Variations:
- The #1050 base still has #627 on the litho until 1992.
- The model number changed to #71050 in 1996.
- FPT20298 - Square white plastic base with a rounded bottom and a hole on top to attach the removable pole. The sides of the base have a Red heat-stamped Fisher-Price awning logo.

- 1991-1995 - Sold in a 7-13/16" long, 9-7/8" high, 4-3/4" deep display package marked #1050.
- 1996-1998 - Sold in a 7-13/16" long, 9-7/8" high, 4-3/4" deep shrink wrap package marked #71050.
- This toy replaced 1960-1989's #627 Rock-A-Stack.
