The 2002 #77978 set includes basically the same car, but the driver holds a trophy in his hand! Requires 2 “AA” alkaline batteries (not included). Designed for children ages 1 to 5 years old.

• FPT50088 - Race Car - Red top, blue bottom 1-seat race car with a blue spoiler on the back (red and white Fisher-Price awning logo in center of spoiler). Bottom of seat is blue with an upright peg to hold figure in place. Car hood has a green and a red light (lights up and car makes sounds when seat is pressed down). Car rolls on 4 black tires (2 rear tires are larger than front 2). Bottom of car is marked, "77978, ©2001 MATTEL, INC., CHINA". Bottom of car also has a blue rectangular battery cover (held on via metal screw). Requires two AA-size batteries.
• FPT50089 - Roberto™ - Male race car driver wearing a yellow jumpsuit with red designs, blue gloves, blue helment red goggles on head,white cape, and black shoes. Holds a gold trophy in left hand. Side of left foot has a red and white Fisher-Price awning logo. No marking on right side. Bottom of figure is marked, "©2001 MATTEL, INC., CHINA".
