Description: The #77816 replaced 1994-1999's #2251 / #72251 Chatter Telephone. The only noteable change from the #72251 is the litho around the rotary dial, originally featuring a multi-colored swirls design (Design #1). The multi-colored swirls design (Design #1) was also used on a limited production of a PINK Chatter Telephone. Later, the litho changed to feature a design with colored blocks and patterns (Design #2).

    • Design #1:
      • FPT45196 - White all-plastic "bubbled" chatter phone with a blue bottom, a smiling face on the front with blue eyes that roll up and down, and a white rotary dial on top. The phone has a red receiver attached via blue phone cord and it rolls on 4 red wheels. The litho around the rotary dial has multi-colored swirls. Dial buttons are blue with multi-colored number "1-9" + "0".

        • FPT45197 - Box #1 - Sold in blue box with red/white band across the bottom (red band marked "Chatter Telephone" in white). Cover pictures phone in center of a large light blue circle.
        • FPT45198 - Box #2 - Sold in box with cover picture of phone on yellow background.
        • FPT45199 - Box #3 - Sold in box with cover picture of phone on yellow background. Area under phone is marked "TODDLERS" in multi-colored letters and "Chatter Telephone" in yellow.

      • FPT45200 - White all-plastic "bubbled" chatter phone with a PINK bottom, a smiling face on the front with blue eyes that roll up and down, and a white rotary dial on top.         • FPT45203 - Box #1 - Sold in box with red band across the top and across the bottom. Bottom red band is marked "Brilliant Basics" in multi-colored letters and "Chatter Phone" in white. Has blue "Developments" tab on front left.
        • FPT45204 - Box #2 -Sold in white box with red lid and phone in center of an aqua circle.
Other Information:
  • In 2013, this Chatter Telephone design/appearance was used for the #30575 Chatter Phone Talking Game, an electronic interactive matching and memory game that teaches your child as they grow. The Chatter Phone Talking Game requires 3 x AAA batteries. The litho around the rotary dial has green, blue, red and orange colored blocks, each with different paterns. Dial buttons are purple, orange, and green.
