Description: This is a HUGE plastic schoolhouse (approximately 4' tall, 5' long and 4' deep) that kids can play in themselves. This toy has 7 play areas for the accessory Little People Figures; a classroom, stage, library, cafeteria, playground, a pool with a diving board and a gym on the roof. The schoolhouse is red with a yellow roof. The back of the roof has a large built-in chalkboard, and the front of the roof has a large opening that allows children to stand up inside the schoolhouse. The edges of the roof with the opening has a ladder and slide for the Little People figures to play on. There is a small blue roof on top of the roof that serves as the Little People gym. The school house has a child-size white door on the side with a Little People play area on the inside of the door. The side of the schoolhouse has a green wall that serves as the Little People playground, complete with a red 4-seat merry-go-round, a slide, a tunnel, 4 climbing tires on the wall, a "rope" ladder, and a hopskotch imprint on the "ground". The set was sold with 4 Little People figures, a Little People wheelchair, a box of chalk and an eraser.
This is the only Little People set in Fisher-Price history to ever have a child-size base that children can acturally play in themselves! This is also the only set that offered both Chunky and Current Little People figures in one year, and the only set in 1997 that offered Chunky Little People figures as all of the Chunky figures were discontinued in 1996 and replaced with Current Little People figures in 1997.
