Description: This Great Adventures Castle was the very first Great Adventures set made by Fisher-Price. The midiveal castle offers lots of fun activities to keep young adventurers busy. The castle features a fold-down drawbridge, a boulder chute, a catpult, a hidden cannon in the wall, hidden doors and more! Amazingly, this set was sold with 10 Great Adventures figures, far more accessory figures than most playsets made by Fisher-Price in the 1990's. There are four good knights in gold armor, four bad knights in black armor, a good king, and a bad king. The king figures automatically swing their weapons when children press down on the king's head! The castle was also sold with a round table.
In 1997 the castle set was slightly changed. The base is marked with a red and white Fisher-Price awning logo on the tallest turret, whereas the 1994-1996 castle was marked "Fisher-Price" in blue on the tallest turret. The 1997-1998 castle set was sold with 8 Great Adventures figures: four in red armor and four in black armor. Some 1997-1998 sets were sold with the 10 left over gold and black knights used in 1994-1996. Designed for children ages 3 years and older.
