1958 - Litho Eyes

Description: Pinky Pig is the first in a series of small wooden pigs that were made by Fisher-Price from 1956 to 1970 (See "Other Information below for other pigs in the series). Pinky has large wooden eyes that roll up and down, an umbrella balanced on his tail that twirls, and he makes a grunting noise when he is pulled. The last year of production, 1958, the rolling eyes were ommitted.
Accessories:
  • 1956-1957 - FPT4321 - Wooden cut-out pig with paper lithographs on the sides and edges of a pink pig wears blue overalls with candy sticking out of his back pocket. The pig has a blue wooden hat, round wooden eyes, a red plastic umbrella tail, 2 red plastic ears, and he rolls on 4 yellow wooden wheels. When pulled, his eyes roll up and down, his umbrella tail spins, and he makes a grunting noise. Measures 6" long. *See "Variations" below.
Variations:
  • 1958-1958 - FPT4867 - Wooden cut-out pig with paper lithographs on the sides and edges of a pink pig with big blue LITHO eyes wearing blue overalls with candy sticking out of his back pocket. The pig has a blue wooden hat, a red plastic umbrella tail, 2 red plastic ears, and he rolls on 4 yellow wooden wheels. When pulled his umbrella tail spins and he makes a grunting noise. Measures 6" long.
