Description: The #643 Toot Toot Engine is the forth and final engine in a series of small wooden train engines that were made by Fisher-Price from 1959 to 1987. The engine has movable pistons and it makes a "chug-chug" sound when pulled. All of the engines in the "series" have the same action and sound, they are just colored differently (see "Other Information" below for other engines). Designed for children ages 1 to 3 years old.

  • 1964-1965 - FPT134 - Wooden cut-out train engine with a rounded boiler that has red paper lithographs on the sides with a blue "sign" marked "Toot Toot" in white. The engine has a yellow plastic front grill and cowcatcher, a yellow plastic cab with a roof, a BLACK wooden smoke stack with small white squares on top, and 4 BLUE wooden wheels with white plastic pistons attached. When pulled, the pistons move and the engine makes a "chug-chug" sound. The model number is marked in small print by the cow catcher. Measures 6-1/4" long, 4-1/4" high, 3-1/4" wide. *See "Variations" below.
