Magnified Peep Window

Description: This Precious Places® set includes a beautiful white chapel with two key-activated lights, one that brightens the chapel interior, and another that illuminates the beautiful delicate stained glass windows in the steeple. The chapel has a magnified "peep" window in the side window that allows children to peep inside for a magnified view of the beautifully lit church. The magnetic key can be used both to turn on the lights, open a lock on the back wall to lay the wall down, and to move the figures around in the chapel or on the accessory sidewalks. The chapel and sidewalk pieces have a gap under them to allows the magnetic key to move under them. The figures have magnets on the bottom that follows the magnet in the key when the key moves under the floor, thus making the figure appear to "come alive" and move by itself. Designed for children ages 5 years and older. The lights requires two AA-size batteries and two 3V (.2 amps) bulbs.

Accessories:

FPT6618 - Square white plastic chapel with white paper litho "siding" on the outside walls with delicate purple verticle pinstripes and chapel stain glass windows. The front has a door opening for the FPT16859 door. There is a front step outside the doorway that can attach to any Precious Places® sidewalk piece. The side wall has a magnified peep window to see a magnified view of the wedding cerimony pictures inside the chapel. The chapel has an open top to attach the FPT6619 roof, and an open back to attach the FPT16862 fold-down back wall. Marked "©1988 FISHER-PRICE, DIVISION OF THE QUAKER OATS CO., MADE IN MACAO" under the front step. Measures 4-1/4" wide, 4-1/2" tall, 5-1/2" deep. *See Variations Below
Chapel Accessories:
- FPT16859 - Small white door with a metal door knob, an open window on the top half with a diamond pattern, and a paper litho on the bottom half marked "Precious Places®". The door has a small mailslot under the window. There is a small peg on the upper and lower left corners to attach to a doorway. Measures 2-3/8" tall, 1-1/4" wide.
- FPT16862 - Square white back wall that fits on the back of the FPT6618 chapel. The wall has a paper litho on one side with white siding and 3 beautiful stain glass windows (outside), and a paper litho on the other side of a light purple rug with pink flowers and green leaves (inside). The outside wall has a purple keyhole. When the wall is attached to the chapel, the keyhole can be unlocked with a Precious Places® key to lay the wall down and reveal the inside of the chapel. Measures 3-7/8" wide, 3-3/4" tall.
- FPT6619 - Square light purple roof that has a white chimney with a key hole on top that turns the lights on and off inside the chapel and steeple. The roof has a battery compartment on the top that holds 2 AA-size batteries, and 2 lightsockets, one on the bottom and one on the top. Both light socks hold a 3V bulb and a clear plastic cover. The roof has a small rectangular hole on one side to fit a Precious Places® key into, and a small window on the opposite side with a paper litho picture of a stained glass window. Marked with "REMOVE" and "INSTALL" arrows on the bottom to help install the plastic cover, and marked "©1988 FISHER-PRICE, MACAO". Measures 4-1/2" long, 4-1/2 wide, 2" tall.
- FPT16861 - 2 each - Small round 3V light bulb that attaches to the roof section of lighted Precious Places® buildings. Measures 7/8" long, 3/8" diameter bulb. See Replacement Bulb TOT114.
- FPT6622 - Round clear plastic 3-tier chandelier that covers the FPT16861 light bulb inside of lighted Precious Places® buildings. The bottom tier is textures to remove the chandelier. Two sides of the top (largest) tier have pegs that help the chandelier stay attached to a battery-powered Precious Places® roof piece. Measures 1-1/16" diameter (1-7/16" wide including side pegs), 7/8" high.
- FPT16863 - Small round dome-shaped clear plastic light bulb cover that fits on top of the FPT6619 chapel roof. Two sides have pegs that help the cover stay attached to the roof piece. Measures 3/4" diameter (1" wide including side pegs), 15/16" high.
- FPT6620 - White steeple with a square base and tall hexagon-shaped top that has 6 stained glass windows, once on each side of the hexagon. The center of the steeple is hollow to allow the light from the FPT6619 chapel roof to illuminate the stained glass windows. The top of the steeple has a raised hexagon-shaped outline. Measures 2-5/16" wide, 2-3/4" tall, 2-3/16" deep.
- FPT6621 - Light purple hexagon-shaped cone steeple top tip. This fits on top of the FPT6620 stained glass steeple. Measures 1-1/2" wide, 1-1/2" deep, 2-3/4" tall.
- FPT16909 - White awning with a light purple shingle-simulated roof, a scrolled gable end design in the center of the roof pitch, and recessed white plastic simulated siding on the front with verticle lines. This awning fits above the door way on the FPT6618 chapel. Marked "©'88 F-P, Macao" on the underside. Measures 3" wide, 1-5/8" tall, 13/16" deep.
FPT6623 - White sign with 2 side support posts and a white rectangular base. The sign has a small white shingle-simulated roof, a "Precious Places®" imprint on one side, and a colorful paper litho marked "Wedding Today" on the other side. The sign has a C-shaped clamp on one side to any corner of the FPT6618 chapel. Measures 2-9/16" wide, 2-3/8" tall, 1/2" deep.
FPT6624 - White arched latice-simulated wedding trellis with 2 pink wedding bells in the top center and pink designs on the sides. The arch has 2 flat feet on the bottom to stand freely. Marked "©'88 F-P, Macao" on the back. Measures 3-3/4" wide, 2-2/3" tall, 3/4" deep.
Sidewalk Pieces:
- FPT17058 - 2 each - Tiny light pink heart with molded flowers on top of the heart and 2 pegs on the bottom. This heart piece is used to connect the sidewalk pieces together.
- FPT6626 - Light pink straight sidewalk piece. The top of the sidewalk has scalloped edges on 4 sides with a gap in the center to create a 3 or 4 way crossing through the middle. The bottom of the sidewalk has 3 support legs that raises the sidewalk enough to allow a Precious Places® magnetic key to fit under. The center support leg has connector pegs on the 2 outer sides to connect other sidewalk pieces or Precious Places® bases. Each end support leg has a connector peg on the outer side. Marked "©1988 FISHER-PRICE, MACAO" on the bottom. Measures 7-1/4" long (including outer pegs), 2-3/4" wide, 3/4" high. *Note: Some of these sidewalk pieces have metal screws and washers that hold the two end feet in place, but most sidewalks do not. *Note: This sidewalk is made of 4 different pieces, see below for individual part numbers:
  - FPT16915 - Light pink straight sidewalk piece. The top of the sidewalk has scalloped edges on 4 sides with a gap in the center to create a 3 or 4 way crossing through the middle. The bottom of the sidewalk has 3 round pegs to attach the seperate feet pieces to. Marked "©1988 FISHER-PRICE, MACAO" on the bottom. Measures 7" long, 2-1/2" wide, 3/4" high.
  - FPT16918 - Rectangular sidewalk foot that fit under the center section of the FPT16915 or FPT16916 sidewalk piece. The foot has a raised circle in the center that has a hole through the middle. The two long ends of the foot have a 1/2 circle shaped connector peg on the end and a 1/2 circle shaped connector receiver hole beside the peg. Measures 2-3/4" long, 1-1/8" wide, 1/4" high (center peg).
  - FPT16917 - 2 each - Rectangular sidewalk foot that fit under the end sections of the FPT16915 or FPT16916 sidewalk piece. The foot a raised circle in the center that has a hole through the middle. One side of the rectangle has an attached squared area with a 1/2 circle shaped connector peg on the end and a 1/2 circle shaped connector receiver hole beside the peg. Measures 1-7/8" long, 1-7/8" wide, 1/4" high (center peg). *Note: Sometime this foot is held on via small Phillips head screw with an attached 5/16" diameter washer. Screw measures 5/16" long. Screw is not required and omitted sometime during production.
- FPT14414 - Light pink curved sidewalk piece. The top of the sidewalk has scalloped edges on 3 sides (2 on outer edge, 1 on inner curve) with a gap in the center of the 2 to create a 3 way crossing. The bottom of the sidewalk has 3 support legs that raises the sidewalk enough to allow a Precious Places® magnetic key to fit under. - FPT6627 - Mary the Bride - Bride figure with blonde hair, wearing a white wedding gown with pink trim, a white veil with pink "pearls" on the front, and she is carrying pink and light purple fowers with light purple ribbons. Mary has a small round magnet on the bottom. Marked "©1988 FISHER-PRICE, MACAO" on the back. Measures 1-13/16" tall, 1" wide, 1-1/16" deep.
- FPT6628 - Michael the Groom - Groom figure with blonde hair wearing a white tuxedo jacket with a light purple collar and bow tie. He wears light purple pants and white shoes with 3 pink diamonds on the front of each shoe. He has a small round magnet on the bottom. Marked "©1988 FISHER-PRICE, MACAO" on the back. Measures 1-7/8" tall, 1-3/8" wide, 9/16" deep.
FPT6625 - Light purple magnetic key with a magnet on one end and a handle on the other end. The handle is marked "Precious Places®" on one side and has an oval-shaped paper on the other side (Litho may be missing). The litho has a white background with blue and white wedding bells, pink ribbon, and different colored flowers on the edges. Marked "©'88 F-P MACAO". Measures 5-1/2" long, 1-5/8" wide, 1/4" thick.
