1989-1989
Description: This is Crash Zone daredevil stunt site set that includes a high performance accessory car and driver figure. The driver ejects from the car on impact. The set was designed to be used either alone, or as added accessory stunt props for the #5135 Crash Zone Rally. The Crash Zone Alley comes with a bulldozer blade that is pneumatically controlled by an air plunger - pushing the plunger at the right time will drop the blade in front of the car. The set also includes a collapsing water tower and abandoned factory. The car requires one AA-size battery (not included). Designed for children ages 5 years and older.
Accessories:
  • Gray base with a k-shaped road intersection on it. The straight road section has a ramp on each end, another road section leads to an accessory abandoned factory, and the final road section is beside a brick-simulated wall and under an accessory collapsable water tower.
  • Round grey water tower with a red and white checker pattern on the top. The tower is supported via 2 yellow support beams.
  • Yellow plastic water tower support. This piece has 2 verticle support beams with a bar across the top that connects them, and a X-shape in the middle for added support. This piece fits on top of the brick-simulated wall on the grey base mentioned above. This support is much shorter than the other support mentioned below.
  • Yellow plastic water tower support. This piece has 2 long verticle support beams with a bar across the top that connects them, and a X-shape in the middle for added support. This piece fits on the grey base mentioned above. This support is much taller than the other support mentioned above.
  • Yellow bulldozer blade that is pneumatically controlled by an air plunger - pushing the plunger at the right time will drop the blade in front of a car.
  • Red factory with a gray roof and smokestack. The factory come apart in when the accessory car crashes into it. The factory pieces are as follows:
    • Grey roof with "BEWARE" on the front.
    • Grey 1/2 roof piece that the smoke stack fits onto.
    • Round grey smokestack.
    • Red brick-simulated side walls.
    • Red brick simulated back wall.
    • Yellow door that attaches to the front of the building. This door resembles a garage door. The door has 12 square imprints on the front.
  • 4 short black guard rail sections that connect between the two green steering wheel bases. The rails prevent the cars from driving out of the daredevil stunt arena. The sides of the guard rails are marked with tiny rectangular car related billboards.
  • Lime green Thunderbird stunt car with black and white checkered designs on the hood, roof, and side doors. The front part of the car is hinged to allow access to the accessory driver's seat, and to throw the driver from the car when the car crashes.
  • Tiny driver who ejects out from the car when the car crashes. Driver's description is unknown.
Variations: None.
