Description: Adventure Series space play set. Designed for children ages 4 to 9 years old.

Accessories:

FPT1555 - Small black plastic spaceship with an open 1-seat cockpit, silver front bumper, silver rocket exhaust nozzles and a silver seat. Top of the spaceship (behind cockpit) has a small hole to attach the FPT1610 hose. Spaceship has a litho on top tip of the nose area (litho often lost/missing). Top of both ship side "wings" are marked "FISHER-PRICE".
FPT1610 - White hard plastic squiggly space-walk "tether" / Life-support cable that is non-flexible. This is the version formed in the shape of a question mark. The "crosses" at the ends face at a 90-degree angle to each other.
FPT1612 - Adventure Series astronaut figure that wears a black space suit with a permanently attached transparent helmet. The figure has a green face and blue hair.
FPT3653 - clear helmet for the above figure (FPT1612). WFL: 07-AI-01-3-S

Variations:

FPT1342 - Small grey plastic spaceship with an open 1-seat cockpit, black front bumper, black rocket exhaust nozzles and a black seat. Top of the spaceship (behind cockpit) has a small hole to attach the FPT1610 hose. Spaceship has a litho on top tip of the nose area (litho often lost/missing). Top of both ship side "wings" are marked "FISHER-PRICE".

Other Information:

Although this set is called "Alpha Star 1" on the package, it is called "Firestar 1" in the 1980-1984 Fisher-Price Dealer Catalogues.
This set was sold in a 10" long, 8" high, 2-3/16" deep display box.
