Description: Barky Puppy is one of the 16 very first toys that were made by Fisher-Price in their beginnings in 1931. This cute little puppy promises to entertain children of all ages. When pulled, Barky crouches down on his front legs, tilts his head upwards, and barks for more play (concealed barker). The 1931 Barky Puppy was 1 inch longer than the 1932-1933 Barky Puppy. A patent number was "applied for" in 1931, but a number was assigned by 1932.
