Bedroom: 2 red or blue twin beds (color matches sofa). Bathroom: White bathtub, scale with litho, toilet and single sink. Patio: Turquoise or yellow wading pool with pool toys printed on bottom (color matches top of umbrella table); turquoise or yellow BBQ grill (color matches umbrella top), umbrella table with flower design on top (Table top color matches pool, umbrella color matches BBQ grill) with 2 chairs (color matches table top). White cotton drawstring bag. People (all wood, or wood and plastic): Green dad (bald), blue mom (blonde ponytail), red girl (blonde bob), orange boy (bald), straight-sided Lucky (dog) with yellow collar. - # 910 - Other Toy (Pre 1970): "Perpetual Motion Toy" (Roly-Poly) 1935-1935. 2 balls connected by rubber band. Twist the rubber band and the 2 balls roll back and forth as rubber band winds/unwinds. Accessories: None.
- # 910 - Floor Toy: "Timber Toter" 1958-1959. A slightly restyled version of the 1957 #810 Timber Toter. Accessories: 30 wood blocks (long and narrow), stacked 3 high, 10 across in bed of toy.

- # 915 - Little People (Smaller Series): "Play Family Farm" (Photo) 1968-1985. Farm building with door that opens making "moo" sound. Plastic farm base after 1982. Within the plastic base era, early ones had roof corners that met at a point, later ones had roof corners that were rounded off by an angle. Earlier animals had rivets in their bellies, later ones did not (glued vs. riveted). Early silo version had a brown door vs. red. After 1986, set reissued as #2501. Accessories:

Variation on the pig: It appears that there are several brown pigs with black ears out there - it is likely that this is a '69 variation.

A Sears exclusive version had a brown plastic base rather than the green (1985 only). Set has also been seen with a white dog (brown ears and spots).

Accessories: Orange aviary building (sits on top the main building by the hippo area), tan bird tree, 1 orange and 1 yellow parrot, 1 black and 1 orange monkey, blue vulture, dark gray seal, blue elephant, yellow lion cub, brown or blue hippo, orange gorilla, brown or blue mountain goat, 4 food trays (yellow square, red triangle, blue oval, green round - each is a different color), 2 green benches and picnic table (no litho), 3-piece zoo tram (turquiose with white top truck and passenger car, brown "feed car"), 5 figures: Green dad (molded black hair), red mom (black hair), orange boy (yellow cap facing forward), blue girl (blonde hair in bob), green man (tan hat, yellow scarf, moustache).
Variations in later years: Blue dad (bald), blue dad (brown molded hair), red mom (blonde ponytail), orange boy (bald), yellow boy (red cap forward), yellow girl (brown hair in bob), and the 1987 version came with blue vs. green picnic table and benches. Also, the zookeeper came in light and dark green - the dark green version came first.

Accessories: Yellow basket with two orange handles, a blue calculator with yellow buttons that has a rotating check mark shopping list (this list has a red turn knob that shows 4 pictures at a time through a clear plastic cover - pictures show pictures of a piece of steak, carrots, eggs and a loaf of bread), set of 9 coins (3 green .25, 3 white .10, and 3 red .05), a red key ring with 2 keys (1 blue, 1 white), a blue coin changer (3 clear tubes hold coins and a red button next to each tube releases coins from tube.), a yellow wallet with red edges, set of paper money (money colors are yellow, blue, light orange and dark orange), and a set of coupons.
- # 918 - Fun With Food: "Fisher-Price Sink Set" 1982-19??. (seen in '84 dealer catalogue). White working sink with blue countertop and faucet. Accessories: Green dish drying rack, white soap bottle with blue lid, 2 yellow knives, 2 yellow spoons, 2 yellow forks, 2 red plates, and 2 yellow cups.
- # 919 - Music Box: Music Box Movie Camera 1968-1970. Camera with picture disks, plays "This Old Man". Accessories: Picture Disks: "Animals and Their Babies", "Goldilocks", "Visit to the City", "Learning to Count", "Learning About Color". (Same type of disks as those that came with the #212 camera).

Red plastic drum (container with white lid that doubles as drum end) with litho of a marching band around the edges and has a detachable yellow carrying strap. Toy released in '88 as #2210. Accessories: 2 green Maracas with yellow handles, 2 yellow drumsticks, yellow and white tambourine, pair of metal cymbals with red wooden handles, and a red harmonica.
- # 923 - Little People (Smaller Series): "Play Family School" (Photo) 1971-1978. School with fold down wall (metal chalkboard, for magnetic letters), clock on side of building, and bell on top. Roof has litho on one part (often missing). Older versions apparently have a base that extends out beyond the building (on the sides) farther than the newer ones. Similarly, the older ones have a small litho on the underside of the part of the roof that flips up - the newer ones do not. Accessories: Letter tray (filled with letters A-Z: Tray has spaces for each letter - not to be confused with #673 Letter Tray), extra letters: P,S,T,N,R,L,I,E, number tray (has one of each number 0-9, and 3 compartments - but no dedicated spaces for storing the numbers), 4 green or yellow school desks, green or yellow teacher's desk with lithograph, teacher's chair (color matches teacher desk, opposite of student desk color), green and yellow swing (1 double and 1 single seats) and 4 passenger whirl-around, green or yellow slide (color matches teacher's desk and bases of other playground equipment), small box of chalk and an eraser, 5 figures: blue mom (blonde ponytail) - teacher, red Afro-American. boy (bald), green boy (bald), blue girl (rust hair bob), green girl (blonde braids, freckles).

Accessories: Blue wind-up "power" drill with 3 tools (screwdriver, drill bit, nut driver), screwdriver handle (accepts all of the drill tools), 6" ruler, 1 big and 1 little construction link, 4 screws, 4 nuts, green rectangular block with screw holes in it, screw-in green legs for block (makes a work table), yellow block with 1 hole. .
- # 926 - Pull Toy: "Concrete Mixer Truck" 1959-1961. 6 wheel truck with clear plastic "mixer" with beads that tumble as mixer turns as toy is pulled. Accessories: None.
- # 926 - Other Toy (Post 1969): Cash Register (Photo) 1974-89. Yellow cash register with brown lithos, a green coin changer handle on one side, and a red coin ramp on the other side. Register opens green drawer via handle on side. Coins drop into either drawer or outside as "change". Accessories: 6 plastic coins (2 ea. in red, blue and yellow). Redesigned and issued as #2044 in 1990.
- # 927 - Other Toy (Post 1969): "Woodtop Workbench" 1980-1986. Red plastic workbench with a section of real wood that has several holes across cut in it across the top half of the workbench. Accessories: 18" yellow folding ruler, plastic claw hammer (yellow handle, blue head), screwdriver (green), wrench (white), 4 yellow construction links (6 yellow long oval-shaped with a hole on each end), 6 blue play nails, 4 green bolts with slotted heads, and 4 white nuts.
- # 928 - Little People (Smaller Series): Fire Station (Photo) 1980-1982. Station with door that rings bell as it moves up via crank. Accessories: Fire ladder truck (no design on side - different than the #346) with 2-extension ladder and basket on end, 2 black rubber hoses (both have female fittings on one end, and one has a male fitting on the opposite end, while the other has a larger "nozzle"), white/red ambulance, white/red fire chief car, 2 seven rung yellow ladders, 2 yellow barricades (with black stripes), 2 yellow truck stabilizers, and a gray plastic "practice structure" tower, 4 figures (2 firemen with black bodies and red hats and hands, 1 fireman with white hat and hands, dalmation dog).
- # 929 - Little People (Smaller Series): "Play Family Nursery School" (Photo) 1978-1979 and 1989. 4-room nursery school base has a lift-off cardboard roof that reverses to show a playground and sidewalk. 1989 version sold exclusively at "Lionel Kiddie City". Accessories: Yellow school bus with apple and textbook litho, white single sink and commode, white kitchen double sink and stove with 4 burner litho, round blue table with crafts projects litho and 4 yellow captains chairs, blue painting easel with litho, blue teeter-totter, yellow or green slide, yellow and green whirl-a-round, and 6 figures: Green dad (bald), blue mom (blonde ponytail), lime green girl (rust hair bob, freckles), red girl (rust hair bob), red Afro-American boy (bald), green boy (bald). Mexican version found in an unopened package: The stove has a yellow vs. white litho. The writing on the package is in both English & Spanish.

- # 930 - Little People (Smaller Series): "Play Family Action Garage" (Photo) 1970-1985. 3 story parking garage with ramp and elevator. May also be called "Parking Ramp - Service Center" (this is what litho on front says). Reissued in 1986 as #2504. Accessories: (In all years, the cars came in sets with either white tops and colored bottoms, or vise versa - not mixed tops and bottoms between cars. Earlier sets had 'Fisher Price' written on wheels).
'70 - Cardboard box with red and blue lithos in shape of a moving van. Litho on the sides of the box read, "Play Family Service" in big white letters and, "#930 Play Family Action Garage" in small yellow letters. Click here to see a photo of this box. This box was discontinued during the early seventies, but we don't know exactly when. Green service garage lift with litho, 4 single seat cars: Red, blue, green and yellow (white tops), 4 figures: Yellow boy (red cap facing forward, freckles, frowning), green boy (bald), red Afro-American boy (bald), blue girl (blonde braids)

Building has elevator with closing upstairs and downstairs doors, a rolltop garage door, and a fold-down flap (front of building). This was the first all-plastic Little People play set. Accessories: White/red ambulance; Turquoise parts: Gurney (with red wheels, white velcro strap), sink, working doctor's scale, working x-ray machine, 2 chairs (look like chairs to the 923 school, without the table in front), 2 twin beds, infant bed (cradle); White parts: Operating table (looks like a shallow bathtub with a low shower head), privacy screen (white screen with checkered appearance), wheelchair with red wheels; 7 figures: green dad (bald), blue mom (blonde ponytail) red girl (blonde bob), white baby with no bib, white smock nurse with white mask painted on face, 1 caucasian and 1 Afro-American white smock doctors.
- # 932 - Little People (Smaller Series): "Amusement Park" (Photo) 1963-1965. 30" x 30" vinyl amusement park play mat. Accessories: Combination tunnel/bridge (plastic), 4-seat flying chair ride (wood base and top, plastic seats), merry-go-round (wood base and plastic top), 1-seat swing ride (wood base and sides, plastic seat), 4-piece train with 3 single seat train cars (blue, red, yellow - all in wood body with plastic ends and sides), 1 green and 1 red single seat cars (similar to #930 garage cars, but the wheels smaller (3/4" diameter) and are held on via plastic knob vs. metal rivet), 2 small 1-seat boats (in any of blue, green, yellow or red) and 7 straight-sided figures (2 smiling dark blue boys, 2 green boys with ''' eyebrows and freckles, 2 red girls with fancy eyes, black dog with pointed face and white ears). Variations: Blue and yellow cars, light blue boys. Rumor has it that the dog is shorter than the dog that went with the #969 Ferris Wheel.
- # 932 - Little People (Smaller Series): "Ferry Boat" (Photo) 1979-1980. Double deck ferry boat with moving barricades to keep cars from rolling, and a fold-down ramp at the rear. Floats, or use as pull toy with yellow plastic string. Set only made for a 6 month production run due to consumer complaints about the colors running off the lithos when wet. Accessories: 2 yellow life preservers, blue and white life boat, 2 white/green 2-passenger cars (back to back style), and 3 figures: tall blue captain (blue engineer type hat, moustache - same man as used in #945), orange Afro-American man (NOT Gordon from Sesame Street), blue mom (blonde ponytail). Variations: Also seen with 1 green/white 1-seater, and 1 green/white 2-seater (back to back).

Accessories: Tan or green buckboard, tan or green (opposite of buckboard) stagecoach with red roof (removable), 1 brown and 1 black horse, 2 brown harnesses for horses, brown saddle, gray crate, green round luggage (hatbox), 4 white fence pieces (newer style, with wood grain on posts), 4 figures: Blue sheriff with silver or orange star, red man (black felt hat, moustache, yellow scarf), orange Native American Chief (red painted breast plate and bonnet markings), yellow lady (green hat). The green stagecoach/tan buckboard combination is the most common - although an '83 ad has been reported that shows the reversed colors.

- # 937 - Little People (Smaller Series): "Sesame Street Club House" (Photo) 1977-1979. White club house with moving walkway, slide, trap door, and chute. Building has black tire swing attached on horizontal spring post. A bit of trivia: The clubhouse mold was later modified to create the #934 Western Town base. Accessories: Yellow slide (hard to find): 188mm long, 53mm wide, and the sides are 12mm tall. It is reversible (either side can be up), and the ends have a notch to keep it on the edge of the building. 3 snap-together play tubes or pipes (yellow, blue, red), yellow cable drum (with place inside to snap the people so they can roll in the drum), black and red jump rope, red 2-seat wagon with handle (which does not move), and 6 figures: The Count, Roosevelt Franklin, Grover, Ernie, Bert, and Big Bird.

The a cloth flap in the middle of the log folds down to allow access to the inside, and closes to the log with velcro. There is a brown rubber carrying handle on top. Accessories: 3 finger puppets - Mom (red dress, white plastic bonnet), Dad (green suit), and smaller boy (blue bib overalls and white/blue striped shirt, red ball cap), 2 round-seat low rubber chairs, a rectangle rubber table, a rubber bucket with two handles on it, and a broom (about 10 cm long, made of the same rubber-like material as the furniture - looks like a standard floor broom). Puppets have cloth bodies with hollow arms to stick your fingers in, felt "fur" head and tails, brown plastic feet, hands and ears, and squeaker inside. A book named "Lightning Strikes Twice" is also part of this set.

- # 979 - Little People (Smaller Series): "Dump Truckers" (Photo) 1965-1970. Base with drive-up ramp for trucks to dump balls into tilt-bed hoppers. Hoppers empty ball into a truck on lower level where trucks back into stalls the same shape as the truck bed. There are acturally 6 different bases for this set! As we mentioned, there are three different stalls that trucks can back into. The first stall shape is square, second round, third triangle. So the six possible bases you could have are: 1) square stall yellow, circle stall red, triangle stall blue, thus requiring trucks with beds that match these shapes and colors, 2) square stall yellow, circle stall blue, triangle stall red, 3) square stall blue, circle stall yellow, triangle stall red, 4) square stall blue, circle stall red, triangle stall yellow, 5) square stall red, circle stall yellow, triangle stall blue, 6) square stall red, circle stall blue, triangle stall yellow. Accessories: 3 plastic trucks whose shapes/colors match the building's loading bays (red, blue and yellow), 3 black wood ('65-'67) or plastic ('68-'70) balls, and 3 light (earlier) or dark (later) blue boys with straight sides (1 smiling, 1 frowning, 1 freckles with '''' eyebrows). The wood balls are solid wood, and as we understand it, they are 1.5" in diameter. The plastic balls are hollow and made with 3 lines (one of which is a seam) running around the middle. The lines are about 1/8 inch apart, and there is also one hole about the size of a pencil point along the side of the 3 lines (maybe part of the manufacturing process?).

All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Explorer - a stylish, multicolored plastic, rugged indoor-outdoor 6-wheel riding toy for 2-5 year olds, durable enough to carry as much as 200 pounds. Big steering wheel turns front and rear axles for ultimate manuverability. Horn sounds "beep-beep". Heavy tread balloon tires. Large knob on top activates "motor" sound. Two removable figures ride in cab. Ramp lowers at rear, opens space for carrying other play objects and toys. Weather-resistant for outdoor play. No batteries required. 18 1/2" x10" x 13". Designs on the side panels showed a moon exploration theme and included an American flag and a model space-tracking screen. I don't know the list price for this toy, but one reader recalls buying it for about $20. Despite the 1972 end of production date, I have seen this toy in a 1973 catalog. This toy is a case study in a marketing textbook that some instructors in Australia use. Accessories: Two small, removable passengers - both have hard hats on (one is white body, yellow hat, and the other is reversed).
- # 982 - Riding Toy: "Hot Rod Roadster" 1983-1984. A wood base riding toy with a red background litho that has "HOT ROD" written on the side. Has a yellow seat, big blue balloon-type wheels, a yellow wood rod holds a white plastic steering wheel, and a blue section fits between the steering column and seat serves as the Hot Rod's engine. This is a four-piece engine that can be taken apart then reassembled. Red push-button horn "beep-beeps" and wheels go "clickety-click". Steering column swings forward for wagon play. Accessories: blue engine, two yellow spark-plugs, and a red cap.
- # 983 - Little People (Smaller Series): "Safety School Bus" (Photo) 1959-1961. Wood base with clear plastic top bus. Removable yellow roof on top. Opening door with spring to close it, four red wooden seats inside that the people don't actually sit on - they stand on the floor in front of the seat. Wooden wheels, wooden head driver, plastic rectangle stop sign swivels out from the driver window. Bus eyes move and driver's head turns as toy is pulled/pushed. There is more than one version of this toy - in one version, the 2 back passengers are permanently mounted in the bus, and bounce up and down as the bus is moved. In the other version, the passengers are all removeable, and there is no mechanism to bounce the people. Unknown which version is older - so if you know, please tell us. On one hand, the #234 Nifty Station Wagon, made later, also had spinning people, so it would make sense for this version to be later. On the other hand, the non-spinning/bouncing people version has 2 extensions off the rear plastic axle assembly that serve no purpose other than to maybe have connected to bouncing people.... Accessories: 6 straight-sided Little People figures with lithograph-wrapped bodies and white plastic collars (all are flat disks, other than the girl): 1) Boy, fire hat, red/white striped shirt, books under arm; 2) Boy, blue flat-topped cap, white shirt, books under arm; 3) Boy, yellow hat, red open vest, books under arm; 4) Boy, yellow hat, red closed jacket; 5) Boy, red beret, frowning, yellow shirt; 6) Girl, blonde ponytail, smiling, white ruffled collar and litho with a red blazer and holding a blue school book.

The riding bus has a blue seat which comes off to reveal hidden storage area, a white steering wheel with a red squeeker horn, and six black wheels. Bus makes a motor sound when in motion.

- # 997 - Music Box: "Musical Tick-Tock Clock" (Photo) 1962-1967. Wind-up music box ticks and plays tune as clock hands go around. Plays "Grandfather's Clock" in time with "tick-tock" sound. Music box has a light brown wood grain texture exterior, red handle on top, red clock hands, and a litho of the sun and moon in center of clock numbers. Clock numbers 3, 7, 9, and 12 have a little mouse beside them. Clock measures 10 1/2" high, 6 1/2" wide, and 3" deep. Accessories: None.
- # 997 - Little People (Smaller Series): "Play Family Village" (Photo) 1973-1977. 2-section "town" joined with a trafic light bridge connector between them (can be removed to separate the halves). Building has working garage service lift, working siren and roll-up garage door for fire station, and a gas pump with nozzle. Accessories: Yellow single bed (firemen's bed - this bed has green foam), yellow bottom/green top umbrella table, 4 yellow captains' chairs, yellow BBQ grill, barber and dentist chairs (look the same, except dentist chair has a rinse sink on the side), red/blue police car, small fire engine (red top/white bottom, yellow 2-piece ladder), solid top mail truck (says "Mail" on side, and should have "Fisher Price" written on the wheels), 2 green/white cars (a 2 seater - front to back (with fins), and a 1 seater with luggage rack), phone booth with working door, 6 numbered pieces of mail for each of 6 business doors ("address" written in black, stamps in color), yellow sofa and coffee table, 7 figures: Gray mailman, policewoman, black with white arms/hat fireman (with or without freckles), dentist and barber (both look like doctors, one is caucasian, one is Afro-American), blue mom (blonde ponytail), yellow boy (red cap facing forward, smiling), red girl (blonde bob), and Lucky (dog) with red collar. Variation: Fireman has red arms and white hat, yellow boy is frowning in a '74 J.C. Penny's ad. Early sets should have "Fisher Price" written on wheels, and wood/plastic people.
