Description: This toy is designed for small children who are old enough to pound the pegs through holes in their workbench, but too young to have a pretend workbench with small accessories. This set includes a yellow molded plastic workbench with 5 permanently attached pegs in the center that children can pound with the accessory hammer. Children can hit the pegs until they are flat against the workbench, then turn the workbench over and pound away again! Designed for children ages 18 months to 3 years old.
Accessories:
  • Molded yellow plastic baby's workbench with 5 permanently colored pegs that have different shaped heads. Each pegs passes through a hole in the bench and can be tapped up and down, but cannot come out of the hole. The peg colors and shapes are as follows: orange square, purple plus (+), green circle, red triangle, and a blue square. *See "Variations" below.
  • FPT7682 - Red plastic hammer. The hammer has a round head on both sides with "Fisher-Price" imprint in the middle. The handle has a round ball neat the end.
Variations:
  • The workbench was also available with peg colors and shapes as follows: orange square, purple plus (+), blue circle, green triangle, and a red square.
Other Information:
  • Sold in a 7-1/2" long, 9-1/2" high, 4-7/16" deep box.
  • Also see 1991's #2036 Tap 'n Turn Bench. The #2036 uses the same bench and hammer as the #2305, except the peg colors are slightly different.
