Description: The long-lived Chatter Telephone had become one of the Fisher-Price classics and industry all-time greats! Much like it's predecessor, the #747 Chatter Telephone, this phone was designed with a rotary dial to teach children how to dial a telephone. When the dial is turned and released, it rewards child with a ringing bell. Unlike it's producer this telephone is all plastic and quite "bubbled" (no corners) when compared to the old one. It is still appealing to children with it's friendly smile on the front, it's "chatter" noise as it rolls and it's bright blue eyes that roll up and down as the phone is pulled. The phone is pulled by a red plastic pull string. Designed for children ages 1 year and older.
Accessories:
  • FPT3648 - White all-plastic "bubbled" chatter phone with a blue bottom, a smiling face on the front with blue eyes that roll up and down, and a white rotary dial on top. The phone has a red receiver attached via blue phone cord and it rolls on 4 red wheels. The litho around the rotary dial has 6 divided colors: yellow, red, pink, purple, blue, and green. Dial buttons are white with multi-colored number "1-9" + "0".
Variations:
  • The model number was changed to #72251 in 1996.
