Description: In 1981, Fisher-Price introduced a new dollhouse, the #280 Doll House with Lights, that had 7 battery operated outlets for accessory lamps, such as those that are included in this set. This set can be used in any dollhouse because it comes with an antique hutch that contains a storage compartment for 2 AA-size batteries, the lamps plug into the hutch, then tada! Light!

Accessories:

FPT1994 - Brown antique-style hutch (china cabinet) with two cabinet doors with diamond hatch pattern on the top that open and close. The lower section of the cabinet has three cabinet doors that do not open. The back of the cabinet base has a battery cover that holds two "AA" batteries. The sides of the cabinet have a white plug-in for accessory lamps to be pluged into. The back of the cabinet is marked "263, ©1980 FISHER-PRICE TOYS, DIVISION OF THE QUAKER OATS CO.". Measures 4-1/4" tall, 3-1/8" wide, 1-1/4" deep.
Two working lamps that plug into the china cabinet base:
- FPT1995 - Cream (light yellow) floor lamp with a table in the center and a clear tulip-shaped lamp shade on top. Measures 1-3/4" diameter, 3-1/2" tall, 8-1/2" long power cord. *See "Variations" below.
- FPT1996 - Square brown table with four legs that has an attached lamp on top. The lamp has a cream (light yellow) base with a frosted plastic lamp shade with red flowers on the sides - commonly called a Tiffany Lamp. The lamp has a 9" long cord with a male plug on the end. Measures 1-1/8" wide, 1-1/8" long, 3-1/2" tall. *See "Variations" below.
FPT5135 - White cardboard sheet with various images of home furnishings that can be cut out with scissors and used to decorate the FP dollhouses. ID #288015, copyright 1981. NOTE: has a 2-1/2" long x 5/8" tall notch in the upper right-hand corner of the card.

Variations:

FPT8434 - Cream (light yellow) floor lamp with a table in the center and a white tulip-shaped lamp shade on top. Measures 1-3/4" diameter, 3-1/2" tall, 8-1/2" long power cord.
FPT5969 - Square brown table with four legs and an attached lamp on top. Set was sold in a white/red display box featuring a picture of the yellow #280 Doll House with Lights.
This set was sold as an accessory set for #280 Doll House with Lights.
The Tiffany-styled lamp used in this set was also sold in 1983-1985's #287 Tiffany-Styled Table Lamp.
This set was replaced in 1985 with #4330 Deluxe Hutch Set with Lights.
