Description: The #138 Pony Chime is the 3rd and final version of the Fisher-Price Pony Chimes. The first was 1948's #758 Pony Chime, then followed by 1962's #137 Pony Chime. The #138 is basically the same as the #137 except coloring. It uses the same steel chime that was used on the #137.
Accessories:
  • FPT1739 - Round white metal chime roller with large, red balloon wheels on the sides. The chime is pulled by 2 wooden cut out ponies with paper lithographs on the sides of white circus ponies with black manes, open eyes, and red and yellow circus bridle and straps. The ponies bob up and down opposite each other (1 is up when the other is down) as the toy is pulled. The wooden ponies have a spring with a red bead on the top of their heads. The steel chime illustrates nursery rhyme, "Banbury Cross". Measures 13-1/2" long, 8-1/4" high and 9" wide.
Variations: None.
