Description: This is a very unusual looking push toy that makes a beautiful chime noise when pushed. The Roller Chime has 2 large wooden wheels with 4 cardboard tubes between the wheels. Each tube has a metal xylophone bar on the front that hits a metal key when the toy is pushed. The first few years of production, the Roller Chime was colored in bright red, white, and blue colors. In 1959, the colors and lithographs on the chime were changed to a soft aqua color with balloon lithographs on the wheels and multi-colored polka-dots on the cardboard tubes.
